Trying to run Baldur's Gate mods-WeiDu help

I'm trying to run the fix packs and such for Baldur's Gate 2, but to do it you need to run WeiDu. To install it, apparently you just click the installer command icon and then follow instructions in the terminal, but when I try to do it it does nothing. I try to install it but it then just asks me if I want to quit or return to the main menu.

Has anyone had experience with this?
