My iPod Classic 80Gig was working fine until just the other day when I plugged it into my MacBook to sync it and it told me that the iPod could not be read (can't remember the exact error message unfortunately) and would have to be restored. So I restored the iPod to the factory settings and synced it, but when I then tried to use the iPod it told me it had no music or anything on it. Connecting it back to my MacBook, iTunes then said that the iPod had 30Gigs or so of 'other' data, in place of that amount of music that I had previously put on it.
I've tried restoring again but the same thing happens. Any idea what is wrong here?
