Sound Problem

my volume is all the way up and i can hardly hear my music when i play it i tunes volume also all the way up...what do i do?

PowerMac G4 Cube 450mhz 832mb
system preferences>sound>output tab>make sure the volume is up. also, is it only in itunes?
