OSX Mail- Issues

Hi,

If i compose a message in MAIL.app and sending , it doesnt show in the SENT folder nor reaches destination.
I have tried several accounts ( me.com & gmail.com)
same problem. !

any idea how to fix this?

Have you used Mail successfully before? Are you sure that you have your settings correct?

my Mail was working fine, my setting was imported from my time machine ,
my me.com account receives messages ok, but does not send.
my gmail doesnt work in either direction

Your Mac's Specs
20" Intel iMac 2.4 Ghz/3G Ram/320HD, Snow Leopard. PBook G4, 1.5Ghz/1.5 Ram/250 HD, Leopard 10.5.6.
Sounds like the settings for ingoing and outgoing server have got messed up.
Open preferences and reset them and your passwords.
