my old 10 gig ipod with dock connector wont connect to my macbook. the ipod charges ok, and plays music, but when i connect it, a picture of a disk with a magnifying glass comes up. it goes through some sort of cycle but never connects. i also have an ipod touch and that works fine. i have had them both connected at the same time before and there has been no problem with the old one before.
