Ichat 4 will not connect

I don't know if I started this thread in the correct section or not. If I didn't I apologize.

My problem is that I my friend and I cannot connect using ichat. Last week, we were able to connect just fine. But then ATT came and brought me a new dsl modem (Netopia Router) and now we can't connect. I checked the ichat error log and noticed that it kept indicating error code 8.

Today, I took my computer to work with me and my friend took his macbook to work with him and we were able to connect just fine. My friend is currently at work and I am at home. We tried to connect again and we can't. I received the same error message again.

Do anyone know how I can configure this modem to work with ichat?

There are a few url's and some into on that page. Sounds like a blocked port in the new Netopia router/modem.

Do you know how to unblock a port?

What is the exact model number of the Netopia Modem/Router? I can probably figure it out for you if I have the model number.
