Issues with iTunes crashing

Hi All,
Lately when I have been browsing and sampling music from the iTunes store my mac will lock up and not end the program when I force quit the program. I just upgraded the ram on my machine to 4 gigs so it's not a memory issue. This wasn't happening with the previous versions of iTunes. I have the latest release of iTunes.

I wish I could offer some help, that sounds frustrating. As outdated as it may be, I love WinAmp more than anything and never found a similar program for Mac.
