Neat stuff. I like the hair one. Even though that's probably the most over done one. >_<"

I somehow doubt that this fellow is the one responsible for these shots. I think he/she just wanted to share the cool factor of them. Exif data shows nothing except that they were all possibly taken in 2008. There's a consumer brand Casio camera which is capable of doing this on the cheap which I think came out in 2008:

Casio Exilim Pro EX-F1 60FPS

That would be interesting to see if shoot a person running. It probably would make it look painful. :p

Crimson All you need to make running look painful is to take a picture of someone running across glass. Just remember to set your camera to shutter priority and use a shutter speed over 1/2000.

This is just about the most famous high speed photo out there and it was taken in 1964.

I still say the original poster of this thread just posted this as spam to lead to his crappy bargain basement site but hey it has led to an interesting conversation.

I don't know if I ever posted it anywhere, but I did once get a cool photo of a rock hitting the surface of water. I actually caught the rock as it struck the surface. I'll have to find and post it, if it's not already online somewhere...

EDIT: Aha! Here they are! They are kinda low quality.... lots of noise (shot at ISO 1600) and pretty dark. But hey, I feel like this pushed my little Canon Powershot A560 to the limit.

I love looking at high speed stuff. And BlueMac, it might look better if you zoom in on just the splash.
