Hi,
I have had problems for months with my iPod 4Gb nano 2nd Gen.
It is actually working. I can play music, charge it, and all that stuff.
However, it seems like the songs that are on there are frozen in time.
I can't put new music or podcasts on.

I have tried to format it - using Disk Utility and even tried formatting it on Windows Vista. However, when I unplug it, it has those same files on as it did before i put it into my machine.

I have struggled for way too long with this.
It seems like the hard drive is locked.

My lil lock thing at the top of the iPod is not really working too well. Could tihs 'lock the hard drive'?

I have even tried to restore it - multiple times. Restore works successfully!

Thanks for any any advice you may give.
Pete
