Age of empires III problem with text

I have bought a new Mac Mini and it's connected to a Loewe TV by HDMI.

The Age of empires III game (AOE III) shows very big letters so I can't play.

Does anybody know how can I solve this.

have u got the answer to ur problem?
i just bought aoe 3 and the text is unusually small,
i cannot read it even when i move closer to my monitor,
im using 32" hdtv, connected to mac mini with dvi-hdmi cable,
i still have the same problem with resolution (still working on it)
all in all, i have the same prob as yours, any idea?
please any help will be appreciated

Somebody says that the problem is because it is an old game that it has "translate" into mac. So it doesn't work with digital tv.

A game that costs more than 50 $ should work.

Try it in a monitor.
