Hi all,

I purchased a new 2009 Imac 24" 2.66Ghz a few weeks back and love it. I upgraded to a bluetooth wireless mighty mouse and had no problems connecting it to the machine.

However, after around 45 mins of use the mouse disconnects itself and turns off every time and i cannot re pair it (the red light under the mouse just keeps flashing).

So i have to restart the computer using the keyboard shortcut then it works fine.

Can someone please help me as rebooting every hour or so is extremely fustrating.

Thanks in advance.

Trust you are not using rechargeable batteries which do not seem to hold up very well with the MM. Using Energizer Lithiums get about twelve weeks from a pair.

If you keep having problems take it back for replacement.

My eneloop rechargeables last 2 - 3 weeks for the MM and with second set charged i swap them over at 40%. Mouse stays on 24/7 and this has worked well for the last 12 months or so.
