Obviously I have an older Mac mini that works great for graphics, etc. However, almost overnight, I am unable to view anything that requires Shockwave, Flash and receive an notice to update. An old story, but when I try to update, it calls for 10.4, and doesn't work. I hope I don't have to replace my computer at this time ($) but I need a solution. Can I upgrade my operating system to make it work or am I hopeless?

More and more programs are moving to a minimum system requirement scheme that includes 10.4 as a requirement. What are the specs of your current Mac?

You can probably find a cheap copy of Tiger online somewhere. If you do, make sure it is the retail version (black copy).

I would upgrade, you may find that Tiger runs just as fast or even better than Panther.

The upgrade is pretty painless as well
