Need help creating menu button for website

Hi
Can anyone point me to a simple, clear tutorial on how to create a menu button for a website using photoshop?

I am a photoshop newbie and so far the only ones I have seen are pc videos.

I am completely lost and would appreciate any help!

Your Mac's Specs
Macbook: 1GB 667 MHz RAM, 2.16 Intel core duo 2, 120GB Hard Drive. Iphone 3G.
Why would a PC video be any different for mac? Its the same program...
