Should I keep the downloaded softwares or is it better to get rid of them?

If you mean the .dmg files, there will be no harm in deleting them. I have a Folder for them and I drag and drop them into it. That is just in case I need to re-install at a later date. It saves having to hunt around the net for the program.

I assume you are talking about the dmgs that you downloaded. You can get rid of these unless you want to reinstall later (as Gandalph alluded to).

Yes I meant the dmg files :)

Thank you for your help and answers. Like you said, it depends on me whether to keep them or not. However, for the time being, I guess it would be handy to keep them since I am not running out of memory at all.

Thank you :)
