Optibay in MacBoook white running OS X on 64Gb SSD... Thoughts?

Hi all... Couple questions...

Does the Optibay fit in the MacBook 1.8ghz 1st gen?
Would there be much benefit in running OS X off a Samsung SSD in Optibay and use my current 320 Gb for storage?
Lastly, Is there much benefit in having this setup?

Any thoughts would be appreciated...

Currently upgrading ram, hard drive, airport and OS...

Optibay's website states that first generation Macbooks are supported, so looks like there's the answer to your first question.
