Hi there,

I've recently run across a problem with frame/sequence settings in fcp.
I have one project which is fine (the breadmaker), and the other one which is too wide/too little and gives me an unusable export (the tailor).

Both videos came from the same hd camera (sony sr12e).
I have attached pics.
- video settings for the 'breadmaker'
- video settings for the 'tailor'
- sequence settings for the breadmaker
- sequence settings for the tailor
- canvas image of the tailor

Please help me get the tailor settings in order!!

ps#1, the image below is what the 'breadmaker' looks like in the canvas window. this is what i want for my 'tailor' image so that i can export it with no probs.

ps#2, when i try to match the 'tailor' sequence settings to those of the 'breadmaker', i get this image in the canvas.

Please help!

problem solved. created new hd setting sequence. copied files from old (what i discovered to be standard def) sequence.

vid file frame size too small, so dragged wireframe out in one video via the 'motion/scale' tab in the preview; right-clicked and copied attributes then pasted motion attribute across all the other clips.
