So i bought a new compac laptop, and my iphone wont let me connect to it! Ive done the right thing, d/l the new itunes...everything, so can someone tell me how i fix this!!!!

Is the iPhone synced currently to a Mac or Windows machine? Try setting it into DFU Mode and see if iTunes recognizes it.
