Hi
I've searched and can't find any information about turning on the Airport card in my MacBook Pro when it is booted into Safe Mode. Sometimes, when things go haywire, it would be helpful to be able to boot to Safe Mode and look for answers on the internet.

I know Airport isn't loaded in Safe Mode for a reason, but I'm guessing someone here has figured out how to turn activate it. (Or it's so obvious everyone else already knows how to do it!)

Thank You Very Much,
Paul

Have you tried to use an ethernet cable to access the net while in safe mode? I don't know if that will work or not, but may be worth a try. By design, the drivers for Airport are not loaded when in safe mode.

Regards.

Ethernet Works In Tiger

Thanks for your replies.
I tried ethernet and it does, indeed, work in Tiger.
(Was hoping for wireless, but ethernet will work fine for what I need to do at home.)
Thanks Again,
Paul
