I have an object file that I've made using gcc on a linux box. I sent it to my mac, and I tried running it like so:

./DESkey

It wouldn't let me run it, so I tried

sudo ./DESkey

After I entered my password, sudo said the command ./DESkey was not found.

What am I doing wrong?

I should think you have to compile that on the platform you are going to run it.

I'm not sure why it says it didn't find it. Have you set it to be executable. Even if you get that far, I'd expect it to blow up.
