Transfer hard drive

I have a powerbook G4, 17". The logic board is no good. I would like to transfer the stuff on my hard drive to another imac I have. How do I do this. thanks

One way would be to remove the hard drive from the G4 and place it in an external carrier and attach it to your working iMac. Just make sure the carrier is suitable for the drive. External carriers are not expensive and can be purchased for USB 2.0, Firewire, or both.

Another way would be to hook your G4 to the iMac and use Target Mode. TM requires the machines be attached via Firewire. See the following Apple KB article: Link
