External HD doesn't show

I have an 80MB HD that I used at one time to back up my MacBook. Now I have a quantity of data to transfer to an iMac from the MacBook (now with 250MB drive). I erased the HD and loaded it up with the data from the laptop but when I plugged it into the iMac, it would not even mount.

Any ideas?
