I have recently been moved to Lightroom 2, after using Aperture 2 (which, personally, didn't work right for me). I had a couple thousand photos in the Aperture program, but they were divided into hundreds of other folders. I have been trying to move them into Lightroom 2, but they aren't compatible, so the process is taking quite a while.
Does anyone know how to do this quicker? I've spent close to 10+ hours moving just the first 1000, and I've got plenty of others to move.
By the way, I use an external hard drive to keep them on because I do freelance photography and need much more space than the average person. They need to be saved to this drive in the "Lightroom 2 Backups" folder.
