Wireless Mouse problems

Hello,

After 3 wonderful months of cutting the cord from my old mouse and using Apple's Wireless Mouse, I was told to replace the batteries. A no-brainer, I thought, but now I can't get the ****ed thing to work again. Thankfully I did not throw out my old mouse or I would really been in trouble. I have tried several sets of batteries, re-installing the driver and everything imaginable to no avail.

Any help would me most apperciated.

When you slide open the switch/sensor cover, does the light come on?

Yes it does, however it flashes a few times then stops. Also a warning on the screen states 'connection lost'

Have you tried pairing it again?

Click on your bluetooth icon and select 'Set up bluetooth device'.

Go through the whole procedure again and see if that does the trick...
