With Internet Explorer on Windows, it's possible to redirect a user's IE "Favorites" to an arbitrary location, in my case a location on the network. I use this to manage the Favorites users see so they are consistent regardless of which computer is used.
Can Safari accomodate this kind of functionality? Can Safari be convinced or coerced to look to a remote location for Bookmarks.plist?
We have mostly Windows computers, including a Windows server, on the network, with a few OS X machines. We manage the Windows computers this way and it would sure be nice to be able to do the same with the Macs.
If anyone can suggest another (preferably free) method to acheive this, I'm open to that as well.
Thanks for any help.
