I have a Toshiba laptop running Windows XP ... and I have an Airport Extreme hooked up to a 160GB iomega external hard drive.
I keep all my music on that hard drive because it would take up too much space on my laptop's hard drive. The iTunes on my laptop is set up to pull from the Z: (wireless drive), but sometimes after I shut the computer down or if I briefly lose the wireless connection, iTunes will default back to the iTunes folder in "My Documents".
Is there any way to keep iTunes from reverting back to the default folder?
The drive is password protected, so I'm sure it has something to do with that. I would think that the computer would have the password stored, but apparently not. Anyone have any theories on this one?
