firewire? quick easy question!

sorry if im in totally the wrong place. just a quick question, im about to purchase a 13.3 macbook white and theres no mention of firewire? ive tried looking it up and cant find it anywhere on the net. does it have a firewire 400port? i need it for my external interface i use for music production and need to confirm there is one.

Unfortunately, although the plastic models still does, the aluminum MacBook models do not have a firewire port.

Speculation seems to be that Apple has used this as a ploy to drive more hardcore users over to the MacBook Pro model.
