Does anybody know how to create a port and stuff an IP in a Mac's throat when the printer is NOT plug and play and therefore not recognized by the network.
All my fiery printers (CLC 4000/Z6000, IR 8500/ImagePass M2) work fine and the printer descriptions are automatically recognized but ONE, so I would like to know if it's possible to create a port like in windows.
Also does anybody know how to do it in OS 9?
Because we have an OS 9 machine for some specific applications that don't exist on OSX and we need to print some jobs from that specific printer, my Mac guy doesn't know how to do it and Canon service tells me "it should be automatic, print from Windows and we do not support OS9"
Printer is a CLC 1120 with a Z40e fiery..
