Apple store computer inventory -- variety or cookie cutter?

Mac Pro 2.6ghz Quad Xeon, 23" Cinema
If I go to a local apple retail store to look at some machines, will there be some variety in the configurations of the machines or will they all be the baseline cookie-cutter config? Basically I'm looking to get a new mac pro with 2 different configuration options (wifi and video card) than the baseline model has.

From what I know you can't get customized configuraitons from the Apple Store.

Stores don't stock anything other than the base models.
You can still go to a store and order a customized machine, but it's really no different than doing the same thing online.
