Performa 5500/225

Have an "oldie but goodie" - a Performa 5500/225.
The hard drive has failed.
I believe it is an ATA.
Can any one confirm and where might I purchase a replacement?

Also looking for type of RAM and limitations of same?

Yes, it took an ATA drive.
The RAM was expandable to 128 MB using two 64 MB 60ns EDO DIMMs. Supports 4, 8, 16, 32, and 64 MB DIMMs.

Be interesting to know where OP is located as Performas had different model numbers for different parts of the world, with some being sold in Asia only, some in Europe, and other in Americas only.

Had a black Directors Special 5500/250 with a TV card and it sure was a lovely machine for its time.
