ExpressCard/34 Firewire 400

Im looking for an ExpressCard/34 Firewire 400 card

For about £40 inc postage

I have seen a few but they are all in USD which mean ridiculous P&P prices to UK

Anyone Got any ideas?

Looking at this price for a UK based seller, may well be best to buy from States and pay postage:-

Here in Australia much cheaper to purchase from OWC and pay Express Air Mail and get goods in seven days.

Ye if i go to owc i have to pay nearly $40 USD for shipping alone! thats about £24

so altogether its roughly £50

I neglected to give a reason why i want one.

My firewire port has broken and its 2 months out of warenty

I took it into the apple store to the genious bar and he said one of the solders has probably fried but its £500 for a new logic board!

Life sucks

Ahh well barnsley the bad news is it suck worse (or harder?) the older you get lol!

How much postage is the Amazon.UK delivered to you? If it is worth it you will have to buy it alas. You may be able to keep an eye out for a used unit.

£35 altogether from Amazon so it looks like that is the one for me
