I bought my white Macbook from someone locally a few months ago. It's been wonderful.
By searching the serial number, I became aware that it came with Applecare until 2010.
Hypothetically, if I had a problem with it and needed to take in to be fixed at an Apple Store, would I still get serviced knowing the Macbook has Applecare? Or would I be turned away because I did not have documentation on it?
I have read differing reports about this. Would it really just depend on the rep at the store?
I am not aware on how to contact her again as she was moving and needed the money. Am I out of luck because I don't have anything written?
