CAD on a Mac Mini using VMware Fusion

I am planning to buy the new mac mini with the 2ghz core 2 duo processor with a NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics card and 4gb of ram. I was wondering if VMware fusion could handle a CAD program running on a XP virtual machine.

Not sure what CAD application you are running (CATIA, ProE, etc) or what views (wireframe, solid, etc) or what you will be doing (structure study, fit, etc), but you would probably do much better running it via Bootcamp to make use of all your RAM and VRAM.
