Powerbook keyboard mod

I was wondering would there be a way to put the powerbook keyboard onto a 14inch ibook g4. i really would like to have a backlit keyboard. Or is there another way to have backlit keys?

No it will not fit, saw this question asked over at apple, the backlit keys are cool but you really don't use it that much especially when using just battery power.

It wouldnt even work with backlit keys, as the ambient light sensors are located in the mesh speaker grills of the 15" and 17" powerbooks, and you cant get ahold of those and wire them in.
There is a way you can get backlighting, although this method works better for the iBook G3 as it has translucent keys...
