Hello -

Maybe someone can help me here. I'm trying to partition my new macbook pro which has OS X 10.5.5, processor 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo and 2GB of Memory with Windows XP Pro SP2 using Bootcamp.

I was able to partition the drive allocating 15GB for the Windows XP partition.

Everything seems to be working fine until i'm prompted to insert the Windows XP disc and the system reboots and starts to install from the CD.

I get all the way up to the point where I have to select the partition to install Windows but for some reason I do not see the <boot camp> partition that I created. All I see is one partition <partition1> which is the total space I have left on my OS X partition.

Why can I not see the <boot camp> partition? I should see atleast two partitions right?

I was able to accomplish this on my older macbook pro but it seems to not work right on my newer one.

Does anyone know what might be causing this?

Thanks for your help.
