Hi,
Im looking at buying a mac pro to replace my macbook pro. I only really need a quad core for now but I may need some more power in the future. I think I have one of two options. I could either buy a older mac pro with 2 dual core processors then upgrade to two quads or buy a single quad processor now and throw another one in later. I was wondering if option two is viable. on the logic board is there two slots for processor even though your only using one.
I was looking at this auction HERE
and see that it only has one one processor, thus later I could upgrade to two processors.
Thanks
