OK so I'm looking into buying a mini mac. If I bought one, it would come with a Leopard disk right?

Could I then, take that disk, and install it on my macbook? Since they'd both be registered under my name?

Or would I have to go purchase a separate disk for my macbook?

And also- what about the iLife disk? Could I use it or would I have to buy a separate one?

3.4 Ghz i7 MacBook Pro (2015), iPad Pro (2014), iPhone Xs Max. Apple TV 4K
You can buy both an iLife and OSX family packs that will legally allow you to install on multiple machines. All that being said, there are no associated serial numbers.

Apart from it being illegal, the disks that come with the mini will not work with the macbook. They are machine specific. You'd need to buy the black retail disks for the macbook.
