hello everybody, I hope you can help me. :p

I'm looking to get a g4 powerbook. i've found a guy on ebay selling brand new 17inch ones for $2,195.00. however, I asked another ebay member who had bought a powerbook from this guy why it's so cheap and he said: it's because they're "close out" models.

I just wanted to ask what you guys think about this. what exactly is a "close out model"? Is it a bad idea getting one. should I just put that money into getting a 15 inch book from the trustworthy apple.com? :dive:

here's the link to the powerbook on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=14909&item=5754727739&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW

Product Family: PowerBook G4 Operating System: Mac OS X
Processor Speed: 1.5 GHz Screen Size: 17 inches
Hard Drive Capacity: 80 GB Condition: New, Sealed in Box
Memory (RAM): 512 MB

any input would be greatly appreciated. thanks a lot! :flower:
