problem with ox installation

I am a new commer to macs and have just been given ibook G4 12" 1.33ghz,512mb ram, combo drive. I cannot seem to install ox 10.4.9 on it.

Each time I started the system and hold down on letter c, I can hear the cd spinning and being read. unfortunate the screen comes up with two separete

dark oval pictures number 1 and 2 which I do not understand. the second picture is darker and has what seems to be a dot blinking in it.

when I take out the cd the screen comes up with a blinking small square in the middle.

I am a pc person and any helpwill be appreciated.

I think it may be telling you that you are using Disc 2 of 2 and you need disc 1 of 2. Are there 2 discs for 10.4? I don't remember anymore.

what colour are the intsall disks you are using to upgrade that mac, did they come with that mac or did you buy them separately?
