For two days now several of my much used web pages just will not load, while others do without a problem. I normally use Firefox (v 3.0.8) on my OSX 10.5 imac but the same problem exists in Safari too. I've run Onyx to clear out caches, history etc to no avail. Neither my son (imac OSX 10.5) nor wife (PC Vista), both using my wireless network, has the problem. Ideas anyone?

Do you get any error messages? Does it just say it can't connect? What version of Safari are you using?

When you say you used OnyX to clear out the cache, did you clear out the browser cache or some other cache?

Safari is 3.2.1. Cleared all caches. No error - it just looks as though it's loading (rotating wheel icon) and stays like that for ever.

Ummm... The problem seems to have gone away as quickly as it came. I tried one of the 'problem' sites last night and it loaded fine. I tried a few of the others and they loaded OK too. How odd is that.

At least I managed to get onto the UK lottery site in time to enter last nights EuroMillions draw. As usual I didn't win anything so perhaps I would have been better off not being able to load that site after all! :)
