Is it possible to boot up a Live CD (e.g., Ubuntu) on the MBP?

It's been a while but I just held down C after the startup sound with the Ubuntu or Open Suse CD/DVD Live in the drive and it started right up.

Do let us know how it works.

Worked fine. I booted up a Kubuntu 9.04 disk and although it did not detect the WiFi card, everything else seemed to to work.

I may try a Knoppix disk. Knoppix seems to be the best at hardware detection.
