Hey Ya'll.. Been a while since I've posted around here, although I've been reading quite a bit.
Recently I switched from Cox cable internet to Verizon fios. With Cox I had a cable modem that hooked into a D-link wireless router. Now fios has an "all in one."
My MBP (11/07) is taking almost 30 seconds to recognize the verizon Network when I open it up and it wakes. Previously it started working with the D-link router, when I had cox, almost instantly upon waking up.
I doubt it's anything with the computer because it signs in to my work wireless network almost instantly to this day.
Is there something about the wireless router that would cause this pause? It's not the end of the world but is definitely an annoyance.
Everything else about FIOS is spectacular so far!! Thanks in advance for the help.
