Hi all,

I have a powerbook g4 laptop and I was hoping to hook up a second monitor. I have been looking down at a local recyclable items store and have found some old pc monitors. I was wondering if it would be possible to connect them to my laptop for a second screen. If so, what cables would I need/what steps would I take to make them work. Thank you in advance for any help!

well i have a powerbook too mine has a mini DVI slot. it came with DVI to mini DVI, VGA to mini DVI... the old monitors are probably a VGA? if so you'll need a VGA to mini DVI cable which can be bought from the apple store...

The cable adapter will depend on what Powerbook it is. Early ones came with the 15 pin VGA, then DVI ports, then mini-DVI
