Greetings.

Is there a file type for short clips/movies that I put together which I can put a web page so that, for instance, those without QT can view it?

I'm using OS X 10.4 on an Intel iMac if this information helps....

Thanks

For the widest coverage I would think flash video covers just about anything, after all we can all watch uTube

MPEG Streamclip can convert just about any format to flv format

Thanks for that Louishen.

Just to be clear, I'm using iMovie 06. So, do I share firstly as a QT movie, then convert to Flash? Is there a way of avoiding the two-step approach, ie going from project straight to Flash?

Cheers M

There are also free formats like Ogg Theora that are openly documented and supported by free software like VLC that is available for every platform.
