Hi,

I'd like to use my Macbook Pro as a second screen to my Mac Pro. I'm wondering if this is possible by using the network and effectively screensharing the "external monitor".

That is, can I set up a virtual external monitor (since there isn't really one attached) and then view and control that screen using the network on the MacPro?

That would be handly...;

Thanks,

Tim

Did you try searching the forums for your solution?

Look here and notice "where" it was posted, too.

Hope that helps point you in the right direction.

Yep, lots.

Thanks for the link, but that isn't what I'm looking for.

I realise that the MacBook doesn't have a screen input connector.

Instead, I'm looking for a software solution to the problem that uses screen sharing technology. Hence I'm not asking in the hardware forum.

Regards,

Tim
