One day my right arrow key just kinda...popped off a while back and now my warranty is expired etc etc. Been researching and it appears that this is the one key you can't buy separately so I guess I should just replace the whole keyboard. And is it possible to replace it with the black keys? Opinions? Much thanks!

Just replace the entire keyboard. If one key has already popped off, others may do the same. Exact replacement keyboard is inexpensive. See the following link. Link

Go to iFixit: iPod, iBook, & PowerBook Parts and Accessories, look up your MacBook model and find the step by step instructions for replacing the keyboard yourself.

Regards.

Replacing the entire keyboard because one key is bad sounds insane. The keyboard at pchub does not look like a genuine apple keyboard (check the command key etc). Try searching for 'macbook key' on ebay.

Also check the price that "ifixit" has for a keyboard replacement while you're there getting the step by step instructions. Good luck with the repair.
