Hello there , i currently have 4 gig worth of memory installed on my G5 all in 512 blocks , i was wondering if i took one module out and replaced it with a 1gb stick it would work? Obviously it would be the same specs as the 512 but 1gb.

Thank you for your time!

Memory must be installed in matching pairs for a Power Mac G5, so no it wouldn't work.
