Themechanger Help

Hey,

I'm running OS X 10.4.11 right now and just installed Themechanger, as I would really like a black theme for my Mac.

It doesn't seem to run properly, although I have read it is compatible with 10.4.X. I tried Shapeshifter, but it was very inconsistent and did not seem to change themes well. The theme would not be consistent across all apps either.

Anyways, I'm wondering if it's safe to run Themechanger with my OS, and also where I could find .theme format themes for the app if it is good.

I should add that I only demo'd Shapshifter, and if it actually performs well, I will pony up the $20 to buy the app, but it felt like there was something to be left desired.
