scrambled numbers instead of readable text on webpage's

Hey everyone been having a few problems with my macbook pro, it seems to be when i'm on the internet a few pages i go to the text looks all scrambled almost like numbers and fractions overlapping each other. No matter what i have tried to do i cant seem to solve it. I tried it in both Firefox and safari and the same thing appears, so if anyone has any ideas on solutions or knows what is is i would be very grateful for any input.

You either have bad font caches that you can clear out with Main Menu

Santa Software | MainMenu

Or you have installed a third part font that is clashing with a web font, or incorrect font substitution
