Hi,
I ought to be recieving my Powerbook G4 and Airport Extreme Base Station soon, and I have a question about networking.
Currently I have 2 PC's on a wired network, set up like this:
Cable Modem > (Dlink) Router > PC's LAN card
What I wanted to know was, would I be able to leave my current wired setup alone, and simply use the Airport Extreme Base Station to wirelessly connect the Powerbook, like this:
Cable Modem > (DLink) Router > Airport Base Station > (wireless
connection) > Powerbook
Or does the Base Station have to go before the router?
I should note I am not interested in networking/sharing files between the PC's and the Powerbook, only sharing the internet connection.
Hope someone can help.
