Apple releases things when they want and nobody really knows when Apple will release stuff so this is just a hunch. Apple normally refreshes the Macbook line every 4 or 6 months, except last February when they waited until October to release the new Macbooks. If they do refresh the Macbooks in April then it would've been 6 months since the Macbook came out. If they don't then Apple doesn't really have a release schedule. I don't think that much will be in this refresh other than a slight speed increase but I think they'll put a better feature in the next refresh, possibly October. We'll see how things go but this is just a hypothesis.
